Ann Caldwell Ross, sister of Mary Lynn Morrill's daddy.  Ann was born June 14, 1915, and died at age 56 on January 4, 1972, in Greenville, S. C.  Ann had auburn hair, was very pretty and smart, and worked 12 years at Pineville Elementary.

Ann also wrote manuscripts for Red Buck Bryant.  Ann was the daughter of Ella Mae Shannon Caldwell and John McCamey Caldwell.  She was one of 13 children.

R. D. Ross (Dick Ross) was the husband of Ann.  Ann and Dick had one son, Joe, who married Erskine Ardrey (3 children.)

Dick was born Aug. 18, 1900 and died April 15, 1970.  He was the son of Wm. M. and Sarah Barber Ross.  Dick was friendly and generous.

Edna Ross was the sister of Dick Ross, above.  She never married but was a popular figure in the lower Providence community as she did so much good for many people.  She was an excellent cook and gave Dan and Mary Lynn the cookbook, Mrs. Dull's Southern Cooking, as a wedding gift. The recipe for caramel icing is still prepared often by Mary Dana, Dan's and Mary Lynn's daughter.
