| Vance Summerlin, a long-time
friend and member of our Sunday School class, died in his home unexpectedly
in September 2004. Dan read a eulogy at his funeral on September 20th.

| Linda visited in September
for a week. Among the things we did was to travel to Savannah.
On the way we stopped at a Thrift Store. We didn't buy anything. |

| We are finally redoing our
kitchen. This is the original floor. Our house was built in
1938, and pink and black were very popular.
