The one-story,
side-gabled house is three-bays wide and three-bays deep. It sits
close to Park Avenue facing south. A partial-width gabled porch protects a six-panel door. The porch is supported by
metal replacement posts. A one-room wing, protrudes from the
center of the east elevation. Features include original
six-over-six windows. The house is covered in vinyl and sits on a
concrete foundation

Summarizing Known History Of The Property.
In 1946, Cone Mills bought the Dover Yarn Mill, and the mill village
expanded. The company built side-gabled homes and made necessary
additions to the existing mill cottages.
