The one- story,
front-gabled, house with Craftsman detail sits on a narrow flat lot close to
Johnston Drive facing west. It is three-bays wide and three-bay deep.
The facade is asymmetrical with an enclosed, front-gabled, partial-width
porch which protrudes from the facade and includes replacement windows.
The facade's remaining fenestration is limited to a replacement window.
The south elevation of the house features an external chimney and a shallow,
extended, gabled bay containing a pair of replacement windows. A
two-room, gabled wing extends from the rear elevation. The house is covered
in vinyl and sits on brick piers, which have been infilled with block.

The one- story home with
Craftsman detail on College Street served as the home of a middle-class
family. Larger, more elaborate homes were built on the prestigious
streets in Pineville which included College, Polk, Main, and Gay (Johnston
Drive).
