Other 10. Architectural Style The one- story, front-gabled, house with Craftsman detail sits on a narrow flat lot close to Johnston Drive facing west. It is three-bays wide and three-bay deep. The facade is asymmetrical with an enclosed, front-gabled, partial-width porch which protrudes from the facade and includes replacement windows. The facade's remaining fenestration is limited to a replacement window. The south elevation of the house features an external chimney and a shallow, extended, gabled bay containing a pair of replacement windows. A two-room, gabled wing extends from the rear elevation. The house is covered in vinyl and sits on brick piers, which have been infilled with block.

Larger, more elaborate homes were built on the prestigious streets in Pineville which included College, Polk, Main, and Gay (Johnston Drive).
