10. Architectural Style
The
one-and-a-half story, side-gabled house is located on a large lot close to
College Street facing north. It is three-bays wide and two-bays deep
with a roof overhang and exposed rafter ends. The gabled porch is
supported by wood posts and shelters a six-panel door. The remainder
of the fenestration includes four original six-over-six windows.
Additional features include an original wooden rectangular vent, an internal
chimney in front of the roof's ridge line, and two original six-over-six
windows. The house is covered in vinyl and rests on brick piers, which
have been infilled with block.
