This tile stove in the Gemeindehaus was effective as a source of heat.

This magnificent Moravian flat cupboard is in the kitchen of the Gemeindehaus.  It has been in the room for more than 225 years.

Extensive archeological digs have been performed at Bethabara.  Richard is standing in front of the unearthed foundation of one of the original houses.

God's Acre is the Moravian burial ground at Bethabara.  It sits atop a hill to the west of the settlement.  The Moravians did not bury people by nuclear family, but according to the community group or choir to which they belonged, e.g., single sisters, single brothers, etc.
